A Commerce Graduate from Utkal University. And a Postgraduate from Delhi University… he followed his heart to get into the world of production for the then-booming Television industry.
He also set up the media sales division of his company Shraddha Suman Creative Arts and represented to date some of the leading channels looking after their media sales businesses.
Bijay has more than 30 years of rich experience in the business of production and media.
He has produced more than 500 hours of programs across several genres and in several languages on National and Regional Television. He also coproduced Oriya and Bengali movies.
Some of the programs produced by him are 64 Kalayen, Dola, Dharma Danda, Rajnigandha, Lahari, Kichhi Kahi Habani, Closer Ever, Aaj Ka Duryodhan, Gitor Sandhya, Sangeet Tarang, Susheela & Comedy Remand.
A Physics Hons Graduate from Presidency College Calcutta and an MBA in Marketing
Started his career with JWT (India’s leading Advertising Agency). He held leadership positions in top companies like JWT, Mindshare (India’s leading Media Agency; Part of GroupM) and Dentsu (the Japanese Advertising & Media Major)
More than 25 years experience in the advertising and media industry handling clients across sectors like FMCG, Consumer Durables, Automobiles, Services, IT Hardware and Solutions, Apparel and Fashion, Luxury, Retail – both Local Indian and MNC brands, Govt and political campaigns
